SCP Digital Distribution Group

The SCP Digital Distribution Group is currently searching for a limited number of films for 2014 that will fit our brand with the potential for successful VOD performance.

For over two decades Sacred Cow Productions has been successfully distributing independent films, videos and audio recordings. From mailing VHS tapes using a P.O. box in the 80’s to being one of the first companies to take credit cards over the Internet in the 90’s, SCP has traversed the constantly evolving market of independent multi-media distribution.

In 2007 filmmaker and head of SCP Kevin Booth, licensed his directorial debut documentary “American Drug War” to the Showtime network. This successful release subsequently led to a partnership of networks opening up an entirely new and highly profitable form of distribution known as Video on Demand (VOD)

Starting in 2014 Kevin Booth working with his wife Trae Booth are excited to announce “The SCP Digital Distribution Group” creating a new opportunity that can now be shared with other like-minded filmmakers. In this ever-growing video-on-demand (VOD) market, movies are available to more than 100 million consumers through a combination of subscription, transactional, and ad-supported-VOD via a combination of cable and digital carriers.

Besides acquisitions, Kevin Booth will act as consultant in order to insure a smooth and successful delivery. Trae Booth heads business affairs and will also work with filmmakers and producers to ensure proper delivery of E&O insurance, cue sheets and other legal requirements needed for a proper domestic or global launch.

If you have a recently completed film, or own the rights to a film, please start by sending a link to the film’s trailer and any other relevant links along with contact information and a simple explanation of ownership and current or previous distribution deals.

We understand how stressful it can be to find proper distribution for a film you poured your life into. By creating an alternative to the long-standing, traditional distribution model it is our goal to expand the reach of our message by helping others.
